The Thuja occidentalis is originally from Eastern Canada and the northeastern United Stateswith a main distribution area around the great lakes.
It usually reaches heights of about 20 meters, in favorable locations it can also be just under 40 meters high. The trunk diameter reaches a maximum of 180cm.
